FAQ

Who are the tours for?
Anyone that has the desire to visit Italy, but does not want to worry about all of the planning that comes with it!
How many people are usually on the tour?
Groups are kept small (no more than six) to ensure a personalized experience.
What kinds of activities will we do on the tour?
Our main criteria for choosing activities are that they are non-touristy experiences that focus on Italian culture and a sense of adventure.
Will you be with us during the tour?
Yes, (as much as you want).  As private tour guides, we will ensure you get to each activity, eat at the best restaurants and experience an authentic Italian vacation.
Do I have to do everything listed on the itinerary?
Nope, if there is something you are not interested in, feel free to explore on your own!
What does the cost include?
The cost includes accommodations, meals, fees for activities and transportation in Italy.
Why is airfare not included in the price?
We want you to be able to choose your preferred airport, airline and flight.
What about transportation?
Transportation will be provided from the airport to the location upon arrival, for all activities and back to the airport for departure.
Do I need a passport?
Yes (make sure it does not expire before the trip).  If you need to apply for one, visit here.
What should I pack?
As there is a lot of walking, packing light, comfortable clothing is recommended.  All places we stay have markets to pick up essentials.
Will my cellphone work in Italy?
Depends on what plan you have.  We would encourage you to check your carrier's website.
Will I be able to communicate with locals?
Yes, most locals in the places we visit speak English, but feel free to learn a few key phrases!
Do I need to bring Euros?
No, the easiest way to pay for items is with cards as they will automatically do the conversion.  We would encourage you to have a card that does not contain foreign transaction fees. You can also use bank cards to withdraw Euros at local ATM's.
